    Absolutely outstanding to say the least! We went for our 25th anniversary dinner and the whole experience was nothing short of excellence. We went for five course with our own selections. Everything from appetizers to desserts were unique and delicious. The cheese options were broad and exclusive. We were delighted to have our special slice of candle lit cake to mark our day, and a bag of gift wrapped goodies to take home! Our server and everyone else elevated our experience to the next level. Thank you team Gary Danko for making our important milestone memorable and special. The Roys

    The food, service, and ambiance was impeccable- to be simply put, I’d absolutely dine here again. My reservation was for Saturday l, but was contacted on Thursday to confirm my party was still coming. After doing so, they were very communicative about parking difficulties and advised the closest location should I do so. We arrived early and was sat at the bar until our table was ready- had a lovely dirty martini with olives. Coats were checked before seating and we were sat in an intimate booth. A small soup was brought out (I can’t remember what was in it) and it set the mood for the meal. I ordered the prefixe 5 entree course while my companions chose 4. I loved that the prefixe was an option, but should you want to select different courses- that was an option as well. I had the grilled oysters, salmon, filet of beef, cheese plate, and soufflé. Everything was a standout I will say the oysters were a highlight. As someone who isn’t a big fan of oysters, I knew this would be done well. The dish was so light and packed with flavor. The horseradish crusted salmon had a nice tang from the mustard sauce. The filet of beef was cooked perfectly at medium rare. Numerous selections when it came down to the cheese options and the soufflé was to fire for. All the portions were very hearty and more than I expected. I left feeling full and satiated. The staff was attentive and thorough with explanations of the menu. Everyone I encountered was pleasant. I’m happy to have dined here on my brief trip. Please be advised that there is a $50/per person fee to hold the reservation- it doesn’t apply to the bill, but we each went home with small pumpkin cake and had a lovely assortment of small desserts prior to leaving. Can’t wait to come back!

    To begin, we had complementary a potato and cauliflower soup. Then, we ordered the 3- and 4-course dinners: lobster salad & lobster and seafood risotto to start, the branzino, the lamb and the scallops as mains and the chestnut pavlova and chocolate souffle for dessert. We enjoyed every course, but I especially like the mains. The scallops, which came with spaghetti squash were cooked perfectly and had a lovely buttery texture. The branzino had a crispy skin, and I liked the sauce so much that I finished it by using my bread to wipe it up. The lamb with polenta was tender and flavorful. At the end, we were also presented with a plate of confections and pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling, with we've saved for breakfast. The only one that didn't hit the mark for us was the complementary small bowl of potato and cauliflower soup with a dollop of orange gellé(?) in the center. The flavor was so mild that I basically tasted the orange. Overall, everything was beautifully plated and delicious, and service was superb. Definitely go there at least once in your life!

    Such a treat to dine here! We enjoyed a 4 course and a 3 course tasting menu. Every dish exquisite in flavor, balance and presentation. Service exceptional: professional yet friendly, and accommodating. A fabulous experience. One glitch when we arrived which was puzzeling. I showed them our opentable confirmed reservation sent by Open Table but our name was nowhere to be found on the resturant's reservation list for that evening. Instead it was on the resturant's list for 1/19/25 @ 5 pm. Weird. The restaurant accommodated us anyway, even without a reservation listed. This was easy for them as our reservation was very early @ 5 pm. There may not have been such a happy ending if we happened to plan to dine during peak hours. And we were celebrating a very special 75th Birthday!

    A truly extraordinary dining experience. Service is impeccable and food so incredibly delicious. I loved every second. While it is expensive, it is worth every penny and more!

    Team was extraordinary from the moment I arrived to exit. Food was fantastic and wine pairings superb. Team was exceptional and not pretentious - simply a fantastic evening. Highly recommend as a must when you’re in SFO!
