Executive Chef Lorenzo Loseto's innovative Toronto cuisine focuses on seasonal, natural, local, and sustainable ingredients sourced from the city's markets. Since 2003, Chef Loseto has put George on the map, earning numerous awards, including recognition in the Michelin Guide since its launch in 2022. He offers both his signature blind tasting menus and à la carte options.

George is housed in a mid-century chocolate factory, blending industrial history with warmth and charm in its décor.

Before or after your meal, join us at Secrette, and enjoy a carefully crafted cocktail. Our speakeasy is located above George. Simply check in with the George host team for access to Secrette. Chef Loseto also offers an à la carte menu from George and a small plate and shareable menu.

    Enjoyed the 7 course Valentine’s Day Menu with the wife. The first 6 courses were just exquisite!Would go back on a regular night just to have more of it. The last chocolate tasting course was just ok. Nothing memorable there. The City of Lights and Negroni Sbagliato cocktails were really good.

    Our sommelier was the highlight of our long trip to visit this destination. The scallops were undercooked and the bread with oil was over salted. The second course was a close contender to being the highlight of our trip.

    Went in for one of the 7 course set menus. Chef fully customized the meal for my dietary restrictions, and every dish was so well thought out and delicious. Wonderful experience.

    Exceptionally good food. Service was slow. We were there 3.5 hours. Chairs were uncomfortable and old. Ambiance left something to be desired.

    Excellent from start to finish! Get one of their signature cocktails before you start & order the home made focaccia bread basket with rosemary oil that has lemon vinegarette in it with your cocktails while you decide on your dinner menu.

    The winterlicious menu did not impress. Burnt main courses for both of us which were remade eventually.

    The menu for Winterlicious was lovely but because the restaurant was so busy the service was a bit inattentive - our server was very pleasant nevertheless. The Secrette Bar upstairs was a nice surprise - would return there next time - the atmosphere is more conducive to relaxing and I prefer small plates.

    George Restaurant delivers a consistently excellent experience. Dishes are well-prepared and presented. Our waiter was a delight and we received the just the right amount of attention without staff being obtrusive. Worth doing for a romantic dinner out.
