Come and experience our lively interpretation of South Carolina Low-Country cuisine. Enjoy good southern food, servers who bubble over with hospitality, and a dining room that is truly distinctive. With its golden woods and bronze sculptures that crawl across the ceiling, designer Adam Tihany has created an atmosphere to awaken your senses. What better place to enjoy low country cuisine than in this contemporary environment celebrating the south. Offering the flavor of the South - the Soul of Washington; where we will be sure to leave a light burning in the window for you, our guests.

22% service charge is included on every check. 18% is distributed directly to service workers on top of their base wages, and the remaining 4% is used to help pay for all staff costs due to the District of Columbia's Initiative 82. You may choose to leave an additional tip!

Food and drinks were amazing ! The Service was spectacular. I had the seafood penne and I would eat it every day if I could. So delicious I removed a star because I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and that was never acknowledged.

Bar service can be slow- just one bartender and table orders get prioritized over bar orders. Better to get seated, then order drinks.

I will not be back. I have frequented this spot every year when in town. Last year was the first time I was disappointed but I have history with the spot so gave it another shot. The service was horrible from check in to payment. Food tasted as remembered but when I asked ton sub greens for spinach you would have thought I started a war. Server said it is new that they no longer allow substitutions. For the price, which I don't mind for good food, this is not a good business decision. Very disappointed overall and a nudge to find somewhere else for our group.

Scrumptious southern cooking, live Jazz band, wonderfully crafted cocktails with a romantic and classy ambiance, what’s not to love? Georgia Brown’s hits all the marks for me! My husband and I went in for their 4 course Sunday brunch menu and were delighted from start to finish. The starter gumbo and salmon salad were divine, we both went to the omelette station and were please with the variety of ingredients to choose from. As we settled in to enjoying that we were delighted to see the jazz band start in full swing, awesome performance that really added to the vibe of the restaurant. I chose shrimp and grits and my husband had the steak and eggs, both were delicious! We can’t wait to go back!
