   We had a mom & daughter day starting with brunch at Gertrude’s and it was fabulous. We sat on the patio and shared the Forbidden Rce Bowl & Bananas Foster French Toast. Both were delicious but the rice bowl exceeded our expectations. If you’re on the fence about ordering it, just do it!

   Had a great experience. Loved the options. Especially loved the ricotta donuts. Very friendly staff too.

   We went in for just dessert. Our waiter was so nice and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We had the peach crumble cobbler and the donuts with 3 sauces. Both were excellent. The coffee however, was very weak. Just flavored water. I highly recommend eating here.

   As the norm drinks dinner and concert was a great date night. Cauliflower and Shishito to start, braised boar (was fall off the bone) and noodles and shrimp (were large and were well seasoned) were all great and service was fantastic. Some day we are going to have to come over just for dessert since we never have room after dinner. See you next concert.

   We had the loveliest time enjoying lunch at Gertrude’s Restaurant. Delicious food, our waiter (Josh) was terrific and the weather was perfect. The only down check I would give is the noise level. It was quite noisy and that made conversation difficult.

   This restaurant is a gem. The food is different and elevated. Our group had elote fritters, noodle bowl with scallops, and chicken hominy soup - all delicious. Knowledgeable server, very attentive. 3rd or 4th time at the restaurant and always love it.

   Everything was great! Reservation, atmosphere, service, food, value. A perfect ending to a very nice day at the Botanical Gardens!

    Our table was outside on the patio. It was a beautiful day. Not very hot. Our waiter was incredible. One in my party requested a large lettuce leaf wrap instead of a bun. No problem. The Gertie burger was delicious. I ate mine with a knife and fork it was so large. The iced tea was good and was refilled without asking. The other items on the menu looked interesting But not enough to try. They were on the dinner menu.
