Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse has been a Chicago icon since partners Hugo Ralli and Steve Lombardo opened its doors in May 1989. The classic American steakhouse serves Gibsons Prime Angus Beef and Gibsons Grassfed Australian Beef. Gibsons also features fresh fish, classic cocktails, an extensive wine list and exceptional service. The restaurant was busy tonight and we unfortunately were seated next to the kitchen door so it was difficult to have a conversation. There was constant movement of various staff and food being shuffled around. That part was not great. The service was however was wonderful, our waiter was knowledgeable and kind. The food was delicious and the drinks were great.

Top notch service and amazing food. We felt attended to and well taken care of. Vince, the manager, makes sure that guests are satisfied with their experience. The complementary valet was an added bonus as well. Would absolutely go back.

Great experience at Gibsons Rosemont. Free valet parking which was very nice. Excellent service. And the food came out perfectly done and delicious. We came as a party of 6 for valentines day and were seated immediately. The place was 100% packed. The only downfall may have been that sitting 6 in a booth was not as comfortable as a table. I think for 6 adults it's a bit tight. We loved that the waiter showed us the raw steaks pre ordering them. It was a lot easier to choose by seeing what you're ordering. Also loved the giant ice cream dessert.

We had a great server, wonderful personality and checked on us frequently though I cannot remember her name. Our reservation was for two and our dinner was great.

Overall, we felt like we were rushed. Our main course came out before we even were able to finish our salads. Less than 10 minutes before the main course came out, and we sent it back.
