Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, try 9 grain pancakes with butter and maple syrup or warm banana buckwheat loaf with butter and jam of the day. Brunch options include Moroccan baked eggs and 7 grain porridge. Gjelina offers a variety of oysters, crudo, charcuterie and salad options to start at lunch and dinner. Main courses include pizzas from our wood fired oven and entrees like duck confit, house made pastas and roasted organic half chicken.
*Only ADA certified animals are allowed in Gjelina
*A 20% Mandatory Service Charge is added to your check. Our belief is that every hourly Gjelina employee contributes to your service and 100% of the MSC will be distributed amongst them.

    Reliably wonderful. Welcoming. The food is uniquely satisfying. We were surrounded by other happy diners. Lots of smiles. As usual!

    Back second day in a row, this time for dinner. Foggy night in Venice, but the roof was warmed by heaters and the staff graciously provide blankets. Once again: excellent food and service. Tried two dishes for the first time: the blue fin tuna crudo and the radicchio salad "two ways" (grilled and fresh). Both excellent. Followed up with the pomodoro pizza (it's delicious without the recommended mozarella) and the duck confit. Both great. Five stars and two thumbs up!

    We often order to go from GTA. This was our first time actually sitting down at Gjelina and it was wonderful. Amazing customer service. Excellent food and wine.

    A great New Year’s Day meal to celebrate 2025! Sometimes the front desk team here is rude and inhospitable which has always been a turn off for me. Yesterday I understood why. The people who want to walk-in here are ruthless and impatient; inundating the host desk relentlessly. Parties of 6 with 3 strollers demanding a table. As long as you make a reservation, you’ll be good! Food is always delicious. Can’t wait to try more brunch items next time.

    New Years Day and we wanted some place that we knew would be fantastic, so where else but Gjelina? It was busy but the hosts and servers were unfailingly polite. We ordered 6 things from the menu. My wife's vegan so she had the vegetable sandwich (she had to fight me for it, it was so good). Brussel sprouts, grilled fennel, and the frites were all great. My son and I split the anchovy and burrata toast - a first for me - and it's my new favorite. Finished with the excellent pomodoro pizza - no cheese and none needed, because the jammy tomato confit is the star of the dish. I love this place. It never lets me down. Happy 2025!

    Our service was very poor and we were crammed into a corner in the very back of the restaurant, despite many open tables and asking to move elsewhere. Frustrating to then have 20% service charge automatically included. While the food at Gjelina is great, do not believe we will return soon.

    We have been going to Gjelina since it opened and have seen many transitions . Last night they pulled the rabbit out of the hat . We sat on the roof with heaters . The waiter was smart, funny and knowledgable. Stand out dishes . Duck confit , Carrots Mushrooms , Fennel and as always the date cake .
