   We had the Caesar Salad, Mushroom appetizer, Calamari Appetizer, the short ribs main for dinner, and the Cioppino. The Mushroom and Calamari were well prepared. The mushrooms were excellent-the sauce provided with the Calamari was a mystery. It was just ok. I make short ribs all the time- it should melt in your mouth-this did not. The sauce should be an out of world experience of taste and smell-this did not. It should also be placed on a bed on mashed yukon potatoes or mashed parsnips- again not. The Cioppino should have mussels, clams, shrimp, and a firm white fish in chunks along with the taste of fennel. So much was missing from this-it reminded me of "where's the beef" commercial. This was exceedingly poor. We make a shellfish and fish stew at home that blows this away. Finally, the Caesar salad should have crisp green Romaine-this was a poor excuse

   All the food was excellent. The hosts at front door very accommodating . Prices reasonable. Wine list very good. Loved the cod dish. Your was wonderful. A+

   My party took shuttle from Proximity to the restaurant. I was told by the driver to have the hostess ring for him when we finished. Had a great time and went to hostess station only to be told “we don’t do that” and escorted to the front desk of the receptionist for the O.Henry hotel with a disabled member of my party to ring the driver he thought we were at the front and waited in the wrong place for almost 20 minutes before tracking us at the O.Henry. It ruined my birthday evening. Very sad at this mistreatment and miscommunication

   Green Valley Grill is our go to restaurant in Greensboro. The food is always good. The service is always outstanding. This time was no exception. See you next week GVG!

   We loved our experience. It was our 34th anniversary and everyone at the restaurant we interacted with acknowledged it. We also received a complimentary dessert. Dinner was delicious!

   Excellent service. Food was well presented and very good. Noise level was moderate to high but not unusual for the time of day. Always a pleasant experience. Price is right.

   We had a wonderful lunch at GVG today. The Parmesan Chicken did not disappoint. Even the asparagus was excellent! We noticed how the entire staff works together seamlessly. Busing tables is not beneath the manager on duty. I assume he was the manager, as he was wearing a suit. We think Green Valley has the best service of any restaurant in the area. For dessert we tried the scones listed in the Small Plates section of the menu. These were as good or better than anything we’ve tried on the dessert menu — yum 😋 Unless you must have chocolate, give these a try!
