   We went to one of their twice a year brunches for Easter. It was wonderful! The pigs and blanket were awesome and don’t even get me started on the short rib hash! Staff was courteous and friendly!

   I really enjoyed my time at Guard and Grace. There were a couple things I did want to note regarding my experience. We ordered the octopus, which had great flavor. But was way overcooked and tough. Also, the steak we ordered was supposed to be medium rare to medium and it was definitely rare. The flavor was great and we still enjoyed it. Otherwise the service was outstanding and would come back again.

   Staff and ambiance is great, the food was overpriced for what you get and some items are worth skipping altogether. We enjoyed the gyoza appetizer, would highly recommend. Skip the caesar salad, it's huge, but ordinary and not worth the price. Our steaks were disappointing. The "temperature" we each selected based on the description from the waiter was more well-done than described. Had we each ordered the temp we originally asked for, the steaks probably would have been to our preference. The NY Strip Wagyu was much tougher than we would have thought, but we don't have much to reference, so just some guidance for the next person. If you want tender, go for the filet, it doesn't matter if it's Wagyu. We enjoyed the mac & cheese, and mushroom sides, and my partner was brought a Happy Birthday card the staff had signed, which was thoughtful, however, they don't offer complimentary b-day dessert, which is always a nice touch at an elegant restaurant. We appreciated our experience, but based on the price of the food and what we received for that price, we won't dine here again.

    Great time and food but it’s really noisy in there! I suggest turning the music down some - it honestly sounds like a club!
