In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California.
Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck.
As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators.
The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection.
Gulliver's is place where memories are created.

                                                                        In the past I have always taken my family to 5 Crowns over the Holidays. I did this year too. I was disappointed in the service and the quality of the food . Did not consider it ranked as good as in the past, For the last three years I have gone to Gulliver's around the 1st, This year, especially, I found everything outstanding. The personnel were very attentive. The atmosphere wonderful and the quality of the food excellent. My family will be at Gulliver's next year.

                                                                        We come over every year at Gulliver’s for New Year’s Eve dinner and it never disappoints us. The ambiance is great and compliments the great food.

                                                                        The ambiance and layout of the restaurant is beautiful, it lives up to the hype. Unfortunately the food was mediocre and it seemed like our server couldn’t be bothered.. Every time he came to our table he was running off before we could even speak or ask for something. As for our food: My med-rare prime rib was more like black and blue to rare, it was hard to cut into and very chewy. The Caesar salads were drenched in dressing, too salty, and had an over powering fishy taste. This restaurants prices don’t match up to the quality of food they are serving.

                                                                        Prime rib was cooked perfectly and it was very tender, it was outstanding. The prime rib is served with creamed spinach a pop up and unlimited creamed corn. Most steak houses serve you the meat only and you pay for the sides, this a great value. It’s the holiday season and Gullivers did a fabulous job making the restaurant into a Christmas wonderland. If you want to celebrate the new year this is a great place to start! Thanks for a great night out!!

                                                                        I recently visited this restaurant for the first time after my wife had a good experience a few weeks ago. She brought home leftovers from her lunch, which were delicious, so I was excited to try it myself. Unfortunately, my dinner didn’t live up to expectations. I started with an appetizer that was absolutely awful, and when I mentioned it to the server, I had to order something else. The soup was fantastic, and the salmon was delicious, but both the ribeye and prime rib were disappointing. To make matters worse, I was still charged for the inedible appetizer. The server had five tables, and while she was amazing with two of them, she seemed to half-heartedly take care of the other three. It was a letdown, especially since I had high hopes. I might give this place another try for lunch, but for now, I’d recommend 555 Steakhouse in Long Beach as a better option.

                                                                        Huge portions! Fred Flintstone will be proud. Went on Christmas Eve and seating was quick. Getting the drinks took a bit. Food was a bit slow. The portions are shareable. We both got prime rib and while delicious, it wasn’t melt in my mouth buttery like 5 Crowns. So go for the ambience and enjoy the restaurant. Dinner for 2 came to $225 with one cocktail and 2 starters

                                                                        Great food and beautiful Christmas atmosphere. We love coming here for Christmas Eve. But heads up they charge automatic gratuity on parties of 5 not 6 or 8 like most places.

                                                                        We visit twice a year for a birthday and an anniversary. This time around, the quality of the meat was exceptional, but the bread basket, twice baked potatoes and the trifle was old and dry. The holiday decor was a pleasant surprise and well done. This restaurant is long over due for a major remodel, but it adds to the charm and nostalgia of dining at this establishment.
