                              Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, the food was top notch, the steak pie outstanding, clean tidy pub/restaurant in a beautiful location surrounded by history, I would highly recommend

                              As always, the food at the Guy Fawkes Inn is superb and well worth a visit. Staff were very polite and for the most part attentive. There was a delay after main course waiting to order desserts and for them to arrive which was a shame, and a foursome on an adjacent table were louder than was appropriate - but staff apologised for the delay. Overall, not put off visiting again in the future.

                              Fantastic place with a great atmosphere and lovely decor. We went because we had heard about the steak pie and can say, wholeheartedly, it lived up to all expectations. Delicious food.

                              Great dining experience. Brilliant service and worth a visit. Small but cosy and very authentic old York. Menu covered most tastes and can recommend the pie 👌
