Since its opening in 2013, Harpers Landing has become a beloved and popular community hub for all ages and occasions. Floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides, comfortable leather booths, high & low seating, ample space and beautiful patios facing south and west create a bright and welcoming ambiance like no other restaurant in the area.                                                                                               Couldn't get the high table we reserved and had put a special request in for a birthday celebration- which was not acknowledged. No reasonable explanations given for either situation. And were stuck in a remote corner of the restaurant - quite disappointing.

                                                                                              The food is good here, yes. But honestly, it is the people that work here who really impress. They are friendly, welcoming, efficient and great in a crisis. I dined here last night, by myself at the bar, on my way home. I got a delicious burger with bacon jam and cheddar that was mouthwatering flavourful. The fries it came with were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was an exceptional, light meal. Around the halfway mark of finishing my burger the power in the entire restaurant and surrounding area went down. Everyone was left dining in the dark. The staff were without means of providing some of the basic services we have become accustomed to in our computer driven society. They more than made up for it across the board. From my vantage point at the bar I could observe the breadth of the room. The staff were all completely engaged with every single table and customer, handling their needs with cheerful smiles. The management came around to every table checking on their clientele and giving out $10 coupons for their next visit. Honestly, the situation could not have been handled any better. The responsiveness, care and lightheartedness that was present in everyone from the bus person, bartender, wait staff and floor manager to the general manager was exemplary. I highly recommend Harpers Landing in Oakville to anyone who has a desire for unsurpassed service and great food.

                                                                                              We were sat in the patio with the roof heaters on. Once they turned them off we got really cold and had to Move inside.this wasn’t a big deal but we had to ask a few times. The food was really good and we enjoyed the wine tasting while we waiting for our food.

                                                                                              Massive place with very, very average food quality. Worst part was the noise level....the music was cranked up so high, people (not just our table, but every table) were yelling just to be heard. They even had it blaring in the bathrooms.......and the playlist was brutal just to add to the pain. Service was amiable, but the pace out of the kitchen (and getting the bill) was slow. If you are looking for a venue to have a nice meal, conversation and ambiance, this isn't it. If you like average bar food and staring at your friends (because you certainly can't speak to them)....this is the place for you. Will not return.

                                                                                              The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive. It was a little louder than I like, but it’s that time of year and there was a couple of large groups celebrating their company Christmas party.
