Open all day every day, HIX Soho is the perfect spot for pre-theatre dining. A set menu is also available until 6.30pm every weekday for only £19.50 for 2 courses. Join us for Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday or the best British roast every Sunday. An oyster aficionado or wanting to try your first? Our Oyster Happy Hour runs every weekday 4-7pm Downstairs is the iconic Mark’s Bar with its apothecary bar and an eccentric seasonal cocktail list. The all-day menu offers a selection of international small plates, ideal for sharing.

There is no parking outside the restaurant, however there are meters around Golden Square which is just behind the restaurant. There is also an NCP on the corner of Brewer Street, one minute walk away.

The nearest tube is Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. Upon leaving the tube take Exit 1 and walk up to Brewer Street. HIX is just a 2 minute walk from the tube.

Not surprised to hear this branch is closing soon as it lacks energy and feels tired and in need of a clean Food was ok but service was not at standard of other Mark Hix restaurants unfortunately

Nice restaurant and tasty food, but the atmosphere was a little dull. They’re a bit confused over their offers too - website states BYOB Sundays and no corkage. Then we got there and they didn’t know anything about byob Sundays, then there was a £25 corkage, then £6.. then finally they honoured what was on their website. The manager was friendly though. The speakeasy bar downstairs - Marks - is really cool - would be much more likely to recommend that than the restaurant.

Great restaurant, and was welcoming of our toddler. Only marked down a bit as service was a bit slow at a fairly quiet time, e.g. could see our drinks waiting on the bar for ages, had to prompt for them. Overall though would totally come back.

I never usually write reviews but the entire dining experience was very disappointing that it’s compelled me to share it so other people can avoid such a situation. Food was average but it was the service that was atrocious. Wasn’t given a menu, or asked if I’d like to have something to drink. Had to ask 3 times to get still water. Seems like the waiter/waitress simply ‘forgot’ us. Upon leaving to get our coats, the cloakroom lady was extremely flustered and couldn’t find our things (can’t blame her she was the only staff at reception) however another guest was also waiting for his items and she said you can look for it so he got into the cloak room and started rummaging things around. No security whatsoever. Very sad to see such awful service.
