Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and for its famous Sunday Brunch Buffet, Hoku's at The Kahala Hotel & Resort is heralded for its tantalizing menu featuring global Hawaiian cuisine, — all sourced fresh, sustainable and of the highest quality — serve as the foundation for our menus, a mixture of tradition and ingenuity uniquely adapted for the cosmopolitan guest’s palate. Elegant and refined, yet comfortable and relaxed. Trained in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, Chef Jonathan Mizukami blends French-influenced cuisine with fresh local flavors.
*Please inform us of any food allergies or special dietary needs at least 72 hrs in advance. Reservations require credit card & must be cancelled at least 48 hrs in advance.

    Enjoy the popular Sunday buffet at Hoku's or in the Veranda lounge under the iconic chandeliers. Experience a new dawn of fresh and classic items such as Signature garlic and rosemary rubbed prime rib of beef, misoyaki butterfish, steamed Dungeness and Snow crab, chilled lobster tail, Mountain View Farm suckling pig, auction-fresh sashimi, and a divine selection of decadent desserts. Price per adult is $110 and child (6-12) $55, plus tax and gratuity. A 20% service charge is added to parties of 5 or more. No-show reservations will be charges the full amount of $110 per person.

Price per adult is $145 and child (6-12) $59, plus tax and gratuity. A 20% service charge is added to parties of 5 or more. Parking is included. Credit card information required to secure reservation. 72 hr cancelations will incur $70 fee per person. No shows will incur $145 fee per person.

                  The view was jaw droppingly gorgeous. Our server Jared was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the scallops, lobster, crab legs and desserts. Hands down the best buffet I've ever been to. Thank you, Hoku!

                  Business meal with SVP and key clients. Hostess to server, great evening. Absolutely beautiful scenery, excellent service and fantastic meal. Everyone loved their meals.

                  This is a spendy spot to have a beautiful brunch. We enjoyed our time there and the service was great. They took the extra step of moving us to a better seat when we asked, which truly improved our overall experience greatly. And we got to see some dolphins. All in all a great experience.

                  The ambiance was beautiful and the service was exceptional. Most of the food was delicious. Sad that the lobster was overcooked. Lots of delicious desserts.

                  What an awesome brunch, the food options were incredible, the service by Duane and the entire staff was impeccable, the atmosphere was relaxing and very enjoyable, the views were out of this world. Thank you Hoku’s for a great dining experience !

                  Wagyu beef on grand tasting menu was a massive disappointment. 2 very small pieces of beef over cabbage!? Why cabbage? Really off putting and pungent cabbage. Wine pairings were not spectacular . Dessert chocolate mouse was nice .

                  We went to 7 restaurants over the course of the week, and this was good, but it was my least favorite. The food was mostly good, but timing and delivery was off. The lobster is worth mentioning, and also their pasta dish. The “shaved ice” desert shouldn’t be on the menu as it was awful, and such a silly choice to even put on a higher end menu. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
