Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.
A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a semi private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

                                                            Excellent neighborhood cafe. We had a reservation for the counter and asked if there was a table we could have instead. They had a table outside complete with heat lamps and blankets. Our server was practiced, affable and efficient. The food is quite good (Chilaquiles for me and Eggs Benedict for my wife). Great spot.

                                                            First time dining at Homer Street Cafe and can't believe we hadn't been there yet. Great experience all around. Food and ambiance were wonderful as well as the staff from our server Sophie up to Emmet the GM. I've owned restaurants for 23 years and can tell when staff care and everyone/everything is firing on all cylinders. We'll 100% be back.

                                                            Hailey (Haley? Hailie?) was super great. Super personable and friendly and knowledgeable but humble. Everything was quick and delicious and overall just a great spot to hang out for a drink and a snack.

                                                            Overall this was a solid Sunday brunch experience. Loved the atmosphere and the food was very filling. Smoked salmon on potato pancakes and the patty melt were the biggest hits. For reference we also ate at Cafe Medina and while it was very good as well I would choose Homer St.

                                                            We loved everything about our experience today at brunch. Great staff who were super friendly. The ambiance and the food were fantastic. It was a great way to cap our weekend in Vancouver. Totally check this place out if you are looking for a great experience for Sunday brunch.
