Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House opened its doors in February 1997 in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, next to sister restaurant Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Over 20 years after owners Hugo Ralli and Steve Lombardo set out to open the city's finest seafood restaurant, Hugo's continues to be the destination for premier east and west coast oysters, crudos, frog legs, lobster and seasonal fish and shellfish, in addition to Gibsons Prime Angus and Gibsons Grassfed Australian steaks. An extensive wine list, classic cocktail list and selection of impressive signature desserts accompany the menu of fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Beautiful private dining and events spaces available.

Whenever I come home and visit from Palm Springs, CA, my go-to place is Hugo's Frog Bar. in downtown Naperville, IL. Today we had Trent as a Server, he was very informative, attentive and hospitable. The crispy fish sliders were excellent and I love that there were so many side choices. I went with the mixed fruit, again, fresh and a great mix. Here's what I like the best - it's the way the Servers play off each other. Water being poured, dishes being picked up, someone serving the meal, coffee refill, etc. They are all in sync. It's really nice to see and the restaurant side was not overly noisy, it was moderate. With my mother wearing hearing aides, it was nice to have a conversation with her and not yell across the table. Great job Hugo's! I'll be back in the spring.

It was very busy as it was New Years. Everyone was very friendly and working hard. A great experience! Food could have been better.

Very busy on New Year's Eve. The food was great, and it came out within an acceptable amount of time. We didn't see the waiter much, however, a young man providing water and doing clean up took great care of us.

I absolutely love the staff at Hugo’s! They are always so welcoming and nice. When we bring our 3 small children the staff always says hello and makes us feel welcomed. Our children love when we say we are going to Hugo’s. It has become a family favorite!

I definitely would return to try more dishes. The White Fish was awesome and my wife really liked the Steak. The Brussel sprouts and Asparagus were both splendid as well! The Service was by Ray was excellent and we appreciated his friendliness!

Hugo’s is always good service and good food, they need to upgrade their holiday decorations and fresh flowers on tables, candles would be a nice touch
