Hugo's Restaurant, a West Hollywood staple since 1980, offers California cuisine with a modern, from-scratch flair, featuring whole-food, plant-based ingredients. Especially famous for brunch, come to Hugo’s to enjoy signature breakfast dishes like "Pasta Mama,” “Desayuno Fuerte,” or our gluten free “Almond Energy Pancakes.” Peanut-free, GMO-free, sustainable, and organic. Choose a relaxed, airy dining room or a dog-friendly covered patio. Two blocks east of La Cienega on Santa Monica Blvd with convenient parking and walking distance to unique shops, bars, and retail stores.

Breakfast

  • Breakfast Salad

    Scrambled egg whites with organic turmeric rice, mixed mushrooms, spinach, ginger, garlic, and tamari. Served over a bed of organic mixed greens in balsamic vinaigrette. Gluten free. Can be vegan and vegetarian.

    • Salmon Breakfast Hash

      Sautéed sweet corn, roasted potatoes, and green onions topped with our savory salmon cake and two eggs cooked any style. Drizzled in honey chipotle and garnished with fresh cilantro.

      Starters

      • French Onion Soup

        Traditional French onion soup slow cooked with marsala wine, thyme, garlic, olive oil, and spices. Served with croutons and melted Swiss cheese. Vegetarian, can be vegan or gluten-free.

        Salad

        • Citrus Salad

          Grilled chicken breast or marinated organic tofu, shredded spinach & radicchio, fresh oranges pieces, brown sugar walnuts, avocado, Roma tomatoes, and Gorgonzola cheese tossed in our citrus dressing. Contains nuts. Gluten-free. Can be vegan or vegetarian.

          Sandwiches

          • Salmon Burger

            Flaky salmon patty with sautéed bell peppers, red onion, garlic, and seasoning. Stacked on a vegan brioche bun with lettuce, pico de gallo, pickles, spicy aioli, and micro greens. Served with mixed greens.

            • Brisket Wrap

              Slow cooked shredded brisket with BBQ sauce, sauteed mushrooms, shredded mozzarella, organic romaine lettuce, mayo, and grilled onions wrapped in a spinach tortilla. Served with organic mixed greens. Can be gluten-free.

              Entrees

              • Pot Roast Brisket

                Pot roast brisket slow cooked with carrots, celery, onions, garlic, Dijon mustard, red wine, whole tomatoes and fresh herbs. Garnished with parsley. Served with organic mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli on the side. Gluten-free.

                • Shepherd's Pie

                  Sautéed organic carrots, sweet corn, and peas, cooked in mushroom herb gravy with natural chicken or organic tofu. Topped with mashed potatoes, and covered in crispy Parmesan cheese. Served with side choice. Substitute grass fed beef or veggie patty $6.Gluten-free, can be vegan or vegetarian

                  • Chimichurri Steak

                    Flat iron steak marinated with citrus and garlic. Served with Mediterranean chimichurri sauce, grilled onions, organic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli.

                    Dessert

                    • Baked Apple Crumble

                      Fresh baked with Saigon cinnamon, nutmeg, and organic brown sugar with a cookie batter top.

                        I’ve been coming here for years and it is always consistently great food great service. The host and the staff are terrific. Always recommend this as a place anytime of day for a great meal.
