Hy's warm resort-style and central location is second to none for private dining. Our stunning restaurant can play host for any occasion, from the most formal reception to the most casual get together. We can comfortably accommodate up to 18 in a semi-private dining room, but arrangements can be also be made for parties from 60-120 in semi-private areas of the restaurant, or in some cases, full restaurant buy-outs. Whether you are planning a sit-down meal, or a stand-up cocktail style reception, we are happy to discuss your options, and the many ways Hy's professional team can make your party an occasion to remember.

Great food but expensive and atmosphere very noisy, particularly in one half of the restaurant with very open tables (sitting on side with booth style tables would have been less noisy).

Waiter was good. Food was OK. Cheese toast was nothing special, could have done without. Caesar was ok, dressing was tasty but nothing exciting, lettuce wasn’t crisp. Filets were cooked fine. Very simple steak house.

We felt underwhelmed with the food. I ordered the steak Neptune which had crab on top of the steak. The portion was quite small for $72. It was okay steak nothing special. For $72 I thought I was getting crab chunks but I got small shredded crab. My husband got the beef Wellington. He said he enjoyed it. When we entered the heat was on full blast and we were sweating by the time the food arrived. They finally figured out it was so hot by 10pm. They opened the door.

Classy Steak house. Cheese toast is a must! Halibut was fantastic as were the steaks. Great service and super friendly staff.

Lovely place to eat. Food is tasty and varied. Good quality. Not on the cheaper side of things, but it’s more than value for money. Alan was a particularly good addiction to the experience. His knowledge of wine and food was a very welcome addition to the experience. Highly recommend.

Chicken was dry. Shrimp was cold. Bread didn’t come. Usually better

Fun spot, they had a DJ and the staff was very nice. Food was poor. $150 steak was undercooked. Two kids burgers were charcoal.

Hy's is a high quality steak house that doesn't feel like a chain. The menu offers just the right amount of variety and the sides are incredible. And don't miss the cheese toasts

The chef did not know how to cook a steak. I ordered medium rare and it came out well done. I sent it back and the next steak came out raw. They compt me on the steak, so I brought it home and cooked it. The potato they served was cold. The prawns a scallops my wife had was also poorly prepared. The prawn and scallops in a little pile next to a big batch of plain white rice. Awful!
