Hy's warm resort-style and central location is second to none for private dining. Our stunning restaurant can play host for any occasion, from the most formal reception to the most casual get together. We can comfortably accommodate up to 18 in a semi-private dining room, but arrangements can be also be made for parties from 60-120 in semi-private areas of the restaurant, or in some cases, full restaurant buy-outs. Whether you are planning a sit-down meal, or a stand-up cocktail style reception, we are happy to discuss your options, and the many ways Hy's professional team can make your party an occasion to remember.

My husband and I were up in Whistler for the Remembrance day long weekend for a babymoon . We had such a lovely dinner at Hy’s Steakhouse. Our server, Chris was amazing, very attentive and friendly. The food was so delicious! Highly recommend the cheese toast for one of your appy’s, so good! We also had the garlic prawns which was delicious too! Delicious mains and desserts too! Thanx for taking such good care of us Hy’s!!

Ordered the Fall Menu (3 courses). It was delicious. Love the cheese bread, table side Caesar salad and the mixed grill were amazing. Our server, Rich, was very friendly and personable. Will definitely go back again!

My family was so disappointed in the whole experience at Hy’s Steakhouse. When we got there it was good service taking our coats we were then seated. We have been to Hy’s before in Calgary and were there with our 2 sons who are adults. One works in Whistler and we were there to visit. Our Server John was mediocre we actually did not see him for about 30 mins during our meal. The cheese toast was underwhelming. The steak Tartare was good and then our plates came out my son’s was def not medium rare and they were tasteless. I was embarrassed about the tasteless steaks to be honest and at the end with a tip spent 470.00. That is not right. If you have further questions please call me at 403-560-2338.

Our meals were delicious and perfectly prepared. Our server, Rob took time to describe the options and help to pick out an excellent bottle of wine to complement our meals.

Me and my partner had an outstanding dinner at Hys Whistler. Started with the zucchini carpaccio and table-side caesar salad. Both were great, and I was amazed at how simple yet delicious the zucchini carpaccio was. For mains, we shared a 20oz bone in rib steak with mash potatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms. We love our steak very rare, but I also love a good char, so we ordered the steak Chicago style rare. The chef did an amazing job as the steak was heavily chared but extremely rare on the inside, not an easy task. Paired with a nice Cab Sav, and I was in heaven. The broccoli was pretty average, but the mushrooms were awesome with lots of garlic flavor. Rob, our server, made sure we were well taken care of and did a great job making the Bananas Foster table side, which we ordered for desert. With a couple of scoops of ice cream, it was the perfect way to finish the meal. All in all, it was a great meal and experience. Will definitely go back the next time we're in Whistler.
