IL Cortile has been family owned and run since 1975. A neighborhood staple in the heart of Little Italy, NYC for over 40 years the Esposito family continues the tradition of sparing nothing to provide only the highest quality ingredients in all Cortile dishes.
We are a full Service Restaurant Establishment offering both A-La-Carte dining and a wide variety of pre-fix menus for group gatherings as well as off premise catering. We can accommodate gluten free and vegan diets. Everything is made to order.

Wonderful service and the food was exceptional. We were a party of 13 and every one of had a great experience.

As always my dinner at Il Cortile was excellent. I have never had a bad meal here. I had the Pollo alla Francese. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The service was welcoming and professional. I always choose this restaurant when I invite guests to dinner because I know we will be treated well and have a delicious dinner.

Our experience here was wonderful! Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. We were able to sit at the window, which added to the experience. Would absolutely return.

The meat was great, the service wonderful and the experience excellent. Thank you for every detail, we were a unique dinner with my family. We will come back in the future!

I’m from Europe and the employee try to charge me with a extra fee for paying with card, and when i payed with money he was trying again to charge me with that fee card and he was very Rude! Although the tips are not mandatory and we gave what we could (10 dólares) and even so he was very rude. Not coming Back !

The waitress stated that the restaurant never received our reservation. I pulled up the email to show my confirmation number then his response was give them 20 minutes. It took 45 mins to get seated. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The table service and food were outstanding. Rough start but I definitely would recommend and eat here again.

Made a reservation several months ago. Arrived at the restaurant at our reservation time and waited at least 10 to 15 min before the hostess even checked us in. The hostess came back and told us it would be another 20 minutes Before we would be seated. We went next door to Casa Bella waited just a few minutes and were seated. Great food and great service.

Réservation on 7:00 PM, At 8:00 PM, still no table, we had to ask for one ourselves. Finally, we were placed in a corner by the window (single glazing) next to the door, and it was really cold in that corner. The service was friendly and the food was good, but I expected better (based on a previous review).
