Il Posto Trattoria is a quaint restaurant located at the north end of the city, in the beautiful Napa Valley. We specialize in traditional Italian cuisine with ingredients from Italy and locally grown.
Il Posto provides a warm, comfortable and non pretentious atmosphere with a variety of food options for all ages alike. Walking into Il Posto is like walking into a Trattoria in Rome or Venice, yet it is here in the Incredible Napa Valley! Our menu includes a variety of salads and house made pastas, in both small and large portions. We serve rustic pizzas and classic Italian dishes like Chicken Picatta, Ravioli and Veal Saltimboca. Come check us out for a real Italian experience.

The gnocchi was absolutely fantastic and they accommodated my accidental booking for 2 instead of 3 with grace.

It was my husbands birthday and they sat us in a corner couch table that overlooked the whole restaurant. Very comfortable and romantic! The food was great, I had the pesce and my husband had the orchetti pasta. They even brought out a special treat for his birthday with a candle along side the delicious tiramisu we ordered. Overall it was a perfect birthday experience with my husband for a good price and a night to remember. We will be coming back very soon!

Great waiter, not noisy, had pork shank over gnocchi, the broth was tasty but too salty, the gnocchi was more gooey than “pillowy”. The mixed green salad was nicely seasoned and delicious.

Fantastic food and service. The eggplant Parmesan is my favorite. The Brussels sprouts were also delicious and perfectly prepared.

We had the most amazing dinner. Great service too. The cacio de pepe was some of the best I’ve ever had. It reminded me of being in Italy.

Delicious dinner had by all.The pizza is on point crispy and thin is what we ordered and it came out perfect. Kathy our server was wonderful.Will definitely go back again.This was our second time going here.Highly recommend.
