In Riva is the first venture by Philadelphia-born chef Arthur Cavaliere who has combined the similarities of his two favorite cities—Naples and Philadelphia—to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience. Sticking with the Italian translation of its name, In Riva is located "along the banks" of the Schuylkill River in East Falls.

In Riva is a Southern Italian inspired restaurant with urban flair, specializing in Napoletana style pizza, house-made pasta and contemporary antipasti. In Riva also offers an eclectic array of new and old world wines, Italian craft beers and racy specialty cocktails.

                                                                First time here. Food and service were both great. The Riva Spritz was huge! Only complaint is that it was freezing!

                                                                We have been going here regularly for 3 plus years. Always great food. Love sitting outside in the summer. Brought a first timer who noted that they would be adding In Riva a to their restaurant list to return to.

                                                                We had a few great pies, pasta and chicken Milanese followed by sorbet and cannolis. All delicious and served efficiently and with a smile. The restaurant was crowded with that looked like quite a few repeat customers. Highly recommend for a nice casual night out with some delicious food at a fair price

                                                                Went here for a pre philly marathon carb load and was pretty standard pricing and food - nothing too special. Got a variety of pizzas and pastas- some creative pizzas but some were burnt. Had a reservation for 2 tables but when we got there they didn’t have this available for us and had to reconfigure something for us that was slightly uncomfortable but worked. Pretty good desserts though!

                                                                Good food and good waitstaff. The restaurant did not honor our reservation. The host offered no explanation nor assistance. After about 15 minutes we asked if there were any options and were told we could sit outside. We did so because our whole party was already on site - but we had reserved an INDOOR table and CONFIRMED our reservation. To no avail.
