Indian Accent's menu reinterprets nostalgic Indian dishes with an openness towards global techniques and influences. Chef Manish Mehrotra highlights distinctly Indian flavors on a contemporary menu.

To respect the dining experiences of all our guests we practice a restricted entrance policy, only allowing children aged 10 years and above.

For the price point, and considering the high bar set by high end NYC restaurants, this sadly fell far short on ambience, service and food quality. In our 7 days and 7 nights of dining in NYC this past week, with a great variety of cuisines and price points, this was the most disappointing on all levels.

I have been here quite a few times and this was the first time I felt a different vibe like some of the magic of this place has been sucked out of the room. Amy, the somalier, was no longer working and there were many unfamiliar faces. The food is always outstanding but this time the pace was almost offensive…too quick to try to take your order, you barely took a sip of your cocktail and they were ready to pour your wine for dinner , too quick to clear plates while someone was still enjoying their dinner, and inaudible obligatory descriptions of your food upon presentation. If I hadn’t had so many prior fantastic visits here including a birthday dinner last November hosted by a business partner to be followed by another dinner 3 days later, I am not sure I would return. Such good food should be one part of “the experience” Tonight it was just about good food and for a place this special that is just not enough.
