Insignia Steak & Sushi is the creation of Anthony Scotto - Owner of Blackstone Steakhouse , Rare650 Prime Steak & Sushi, One10 Modern Italian Steakhouse, Opus Steakhouse & Bijou Modern American Asian.

Like its predecessors, Insignia's inspired menu features the finest prime dry-aged steaks and the freshest Sushi & Seafood, including fresh whole fish, served up in a chic, elegant atmosphere that is also a feast for the eyes. Picture a historic North shore mansion with cedar shakes, quarried stone and a beautiful turret combined with the energy and vibe of a trendy Las Vegas restaurant. "That's Insignia" stated Mr. Scotto, "It's refreshingly unique."

    So I deducted a star for 2 reasons 1- The large TVs around the bar which I admit I couldn’t hear, were distracting me from the romantic atmosphere that Insignia offers with the modern jazz music , impeccable service, and wonderful food. 2- we had ordered from the $69 weekday pre fixe menu which gives you a great selection to choose from. What I didn’t care for was how the chef plated each dish. One dish had a piece of salmon and the other dish was skirt steak . Each cooked to perfection but looked naked on a plate with no trimmings. Gordon Ramsey would be highly disappointed to say the least. Well I said my piece and I would still go back !

    Food was good...but could be better for the price. For an expensive hi end restaurant, I was very disappointed with our table. It was very light in weight, it kept moving/sliding. I looked it was a combination of aluminum and plastic...Diners had better and sturdier table.

    Ross the sommelier was the best. He put on such a show for us opening the wine. Chris our Captain was one of the best we ever had. Rubens the manager was extremely kind and caring. I forgot the bartenders name but he was wonderful. A true dining experience. Thank you all so much for making me and my family feel so special.

    Our family of 6 went to celebrate my birthday and I couldn’t have been happier! 5 of us took advantage of 2 the outstanding offers and had a wonderful selection of appetizers, mains, sides and desserts. A true value and excellent food, what more could you ask for. That, along with the excellent service, makes for a most marvelous time. Thank you, as usual, Insignia!

    We've been coming to Insignia for the past 4 years for our company dinner. It is honestly the best food ever. All of our employees look forward to it. Anna and Andres were our crew. Anna's attention to remembering who ordered what for a table of 12 is amazing. She was so sweet. Our Samurais Matt and Kevin were entertaining. The Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Truffle fries were my favorite. The west coast oysters are always our favorite. The Australian wagyu is the best. Thank you to all for making our night so special.

    Have been here many times, but this time something was off. Food was great so will start there. Service was rushed, sloppy, yet it took forever even though restaurant was not really busy. Our server was nice, but was always rushing and moving so hard to get his attention. Had about $100 worth of seafood left on our seafood platter and someone just came and cleared it off so quickly, that we shouted for him four times before we could get his attention. Did not even think to ask if we were done. Seemed to have lost some of it's higher end polish but kept all of it's higher end prices. Mid-December and they were just putting out Holiday decorations?
