Executive Chef, Alex McPhail has returned to his hometown after 6 years studying under some of the finest chefs in the industry in New Orleans. Taking culinary tips he picked up at Commander’s Palace, Restaurant August & the Roosevelt Hotel, Alex has created a dining environment unlike any other nearby.
Restaurant IRON serves Southern contemporary cuisine fueled by local vegetables and herbs from the creative minds of true Southerners. We aim to bring together fresh local and regional specialties with the finest flavors and ingredients to deliver a dining experience you won't soon forget.

We will be hosting a New Year's Eve tasting menu that includes 5 courses with an optional wine or cocktail pairing. There will be 2 seatings at 530pm and 830pm. We will be charging $150/person with the optional wine or cocktail paring at $50/person.

A friend and I shared their "First Dips" December menu, and it was perfect for us. John was our server, and he was excellent. Delish and for $100 for two with wine pairings, a pleasant surprise considering other options. I like to dine early so this works for us.

Excellent dining experience as always. Best chicken wings in Pensacola. The gnocchi is the best dish in Pensacola.

Taylor is an excellent server/bartender. Entire staff is very friendly. Chef Alex is a master at his craft. Everything on the menu is phenomenal!

First time requesting the First Dibs menu and it was exceptional!!! Very shareable and three courses with wine pairings was perfect!!! Menu changes with the season and is appropriate and well executed. We were not rushed while being a 5 pm seating. Really liked having another dining option. Great experience

Outstanding restaurant. Went to Iron for our anniversary and we had a memorable night. Pensacola has a lot of top rated restaurants and Iron is up there! It’s excellent!

The food was great. Would have love to have had a steak but I’m not paying those prices for the two steaks listed. I eat all over the country at high end restaurants, they don’t charge these dollar amounts. The server was fantastic.
