Had a lovely Christmas Eve lunch at the Ivy. We all enjoyed our entrees very much. I had the Harvest Bowl-all the components were cooked well and the overall dish tasted very fresh and light…which was exactly what I was after. The restaurant decor was beautiful and festive and our server was very friendly. Overall a wonderful family experience!

Very good experience all around. The food, the, service, the atmosphere, the beverages and selection was very good. We look forward to visiting Ivy again.

Repeat customer…busy evening…had the crab cake appetizer…burn black on the bottom…served like warm…salmon main course very salty

Our server Tracey was fantastic, we wanted for nothing. Clearly the ambience speaks for itself. The dimly lit historic structure set the stage for any diner to assume the culinary experience would be par for the course. Unfortunately the food received mixed reactions depending on the dish and recipient. The crab cake dinner by opinion, overall very bland. The citrus butter sauce was as invisible to the eye as to the palette so somehow the potatoes became the star, cooked properly with great flavor. The fall off the bone ribs were as they should be, the meat a bit dry should it not have been slathered in bbq sauce, again nothing to write home about. Next up the meatloaf the clear overall winner with green beans again absent of any seasoning but the cook was perfect. Lastly, the bourbon chicken skewers a safe bet grilled nicely but the chicken itself had dried out possibly a brine or marinade could be utilized to help retain some moisture, sauce balanced as it should be. I had high hopes for the cuisine but true stars undeniably were the staff. Starting with the hostess greeting, to our server, to the quiet gentleman magically removing unwanted dishes, really top notch. Kudos to the front of house.

I can’t tell you how AWFUL our seating was. Service - delightful, food - lovely. Atmosphere - I should have been at Dennys! The fact that you put ANY customers in that dungeon / overflow room is appalling. You advertise the lovely pictures of the Ivy - which it is - but our experience in your CLOSET - was awful. I guess what makes it worse - when I complained when I left and the manager at the desks says “really, the room wasn’t nice?” Then she goes on to tell me I should have known…EXCUSE ME this was my first - and potentially last - visit. I can hardly even understand her words. EVERYONE.OF.YOU - knows the difference. Had she been gracious and apologized, I may feel different - but for well over $400 for a dinner of 4, I should not have sat in your closet. Shame on you and shame on the reception and stupidity I got from the manager at the counter. This isn’t what I wanted for my birthday dinner. The big question - who will I hear from and what’s their story?

Everything was amazing, beautiful glass Christmas tree on each tablet. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious!!
