Nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, J&G pairs award-winning premium meats and a global selection of seafood with the finest local ingredients and worldly spices. Join us nightly for craft cocktails in the lounge, dine under the stars on our scenic sunset patio, or host a stunning event in our stylish private dining rooms.

My sons and I picked the Phoenician steakhouse because when I’m in town, I always take my boys to a steakhouse. We arrived a few minutes early and we set a seat within five minutes.. Jeffrey our waiter and Chris, his assistant or excellent throughout the evening. there was a delay with getting our food because of a large party which was fine. Jeffrey explained it to us now the good part my one Son and myself ordered the 24 ounce porterhouse cooked medium. It was absolutely fantastic tender juicy cooked perfectly we had cream spinach, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese, which were all fantastic. The mac & cheese came out super hot and the taste was perfect. My son wanted calamari as an appetizer which I thought was OK. The cocktail shrimp were good not great but good. It’s the main course at the Phoenician that it’s fantastic. I have to tell you the food was . The sites at the Phoenician were very reasonable. I believe the queen span was $12 as was the mac & cheese and potatoes. That’s a bargain no desert for us just a decaf cappuccino, which was very good. the ambience is nice with seats pretty far apart from other people it’s not that loud in the restaurant, a wonderful view of Scottsdale from the windows. Jeffrey and Chris made sure that our needs met well done Phoenician

Booked an early dinner in order to appreciate the sunset. (it's December) From the moment we arrived we were treated as special guests, made to feel cared for and our every request was accommodated. Including taking our photos out on the veranda. David and Melissa were an excellent team and their service and food and drink suggestions were spot on. Overall a perfect evening that met and exceeded my expectations.

Waited to be seated outside of reservation. 2 of 4 menu folders had no menu inside. Food was mediocre. Sole was not prepared at the table as described and was tasteless. New York steak was tough and overcooked. Best items on the menu were scalloped potatoes and Maryland Crab Cake. Parking validation was invalid upon leaving the parking garage.

The evening started well. We were greeted nicely and they acknowledged my husband’s birthday. Sat at a nice table and were promptly greeted by our server. Unfortunately, almost immediately our server was also assigned to a large group that just entered the restaurant. At that point, we felt somewhat ignored, especially after observing how the other servers were taking care of their guest at their tables our servers assistant, Buser, worked very hard to help us, but she had other responsibilities too. We asked that our steak be medium, but it was well done which was a little disappointing but by the time someone came to check on us, we had eaten about half of it. The brussels sprouts were so so. The tuna tartare was nice and the rolls were also nice. For that type of restaurant, I expect a little bit more attention to detail, and at least the stakes cooked to your liking. Because the buster worked hard, I tried to give credit to where credit was due in the ratings.

Becky was our server she’s 10/10. Came so often to check up on us. Even offer to take a picture at the back door she was spectacular she’s a keeper!! The food was average. I expected a steakhouse to be 10 out of 10, but our steaks were dry and no flavor, we ordered crispy calamari as a appetizer and It was a bit oily. We also got a mac & cheese on the side but It wasn’t so cheesy more watery side but at least it was better than the steak we got. I don’t think I’ll come back or recommend anybody, but at least it was worth it a try.
