J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Blue potato chips & chocolate velvet cake. The cozy atmosphere includes fire side dining, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy dinner for two or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. Reservations are highly recommended.

    The waiter was pleasant, informative, and efficient. Everything was explained completely. The pace of the meal was perfect. Everyone in the entire restaurant was very helpful.

    Nice break from The hustle and bustle. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Salmon cooked perfectly. Lobster Mac and cheese also delicious. Followed by creme brule - to die for. Waitstaff professional and polite as usual. Beautifully decorated. Love dining here.

    My wife and I had a later dinner on December 19. The restaurant was very busy but the staff was exceptional. I had a delicious steak cooked to perfection. Unfortunately my wife had a different experience. She had the chicken and pasta dinner and she felt ill shortly after eating her meal. Unfortunately because of her getting sick we will not be returning back.

    My wife and I celebrated our anniversary (4th) and the entire staff was awesome. Everybody, from the young lady who checked us in to the folks who brought out or meal all congratulated us on our special day. Our waitress, Kim, was friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. She made our celebration even better than I expected.

    Delicious lunch today. Service was outstanding. Our server, Don, was kind, pleasant, and did not rush us. We love that J Gilbert’s has lunch hours before Christmas. Wish they could do that more often.
