J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Blue potato chips & chocolate velvet cake. The cozy atmosphere includes fire side dining, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy dinner for two or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. Reservations are highly recommended.

    If you order the homemade chips with bleu cheese plan on sharing with the whole table because they pile it up. Steaks were cooked as requested and delicious, same with the burger. You will not go home hungry.

    Always pleased when I come here for dinner. I was sat on time and there were no snags with reservation. Timing between apps and main course was perfect. We didn't feel rushed or over crowded with plates at the table. A little over halfway throughout the meal someone who wasn't our server check on how the food was which was refreshing. Overall a wonderful experience I got to brag about at work today.

    Absolutely fantastic experience! We went to celebrate our anniversary and every single person who worked in the restaurant wished us a happy anniversary. They even sprinkled special glitter on our table. And the food was exceptional! We will definitely be going there for years to come!

    Excellent service and delicious food as always. Best waitstaff ever. Food received hot and in a timely Manner. We are never rushed. Food absolutely delicious. Amanda our waitress was very professional, kind and took care of our every need. Can’t say enough about our dinners here. Always consistent!

    Our server Amanda sat Feb 22 was awesome. Perfect picks for food recommendations. The food was absolutely fabulous!! It is my new number 1 restaurant!

    Our server Zach was fantastic, very knowledgeable and was just overall very helpful in all areas when it came to the menu. Will definitely be coming back again.
