We always go for any important Birthday. The Seafood Mixed Grill is always fabulous and a great value. Love the Chocolate cake with raspberry ice cream which is enough for 3 people. Top it off with a cappuccino and you are in heaven. Had a big private table with lots of space to open presents. Cristian the Server was excellent! Thank you J Gilberts

Tables around us were getting much faster and professional service. Our server seemed mad. No water was offered, the table was not maintained, when food was dropped off it was nearly thrown at us. Took about 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered. Just poor service.

Good oysters, tuna, and smoked salmon. Good hot food choices and tasty sides. Fruits and salads were also very good. Joe, our waiter was very good. We enjoyed the good services, good food and most of all very good value for what we could get.

Food was good- nothing to write home about. The Caesar salad we had was good and filling, the bread was yummy, and the wine was good. The entree’s were good- I’ve had better steak at other restaurants but it was decent. The dessert was really good. Overall, a nice family experience for us. I did find that the tables sit higher than normal and the seats sat lower so it made me feel like I was a kid sitting and eating. I almost had to look up to eat my food. Not the most comfortable seating position.

J. Gilberts was a great place to have a nice meal to celebrate a special event. Highly recommend this restaurant. We were seated at a table in a room away from the bar, so we could hear each other easily. Our server Andre was great.
