J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Blue Cheese potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy an intimate table or host a private party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week and can be booked for private luncheons. Reservations are highly recommended.

    Great dining experience. The staff is so professional and attentive and the food is consistently wonderful. I would highly recommend and I promise you won't be disappointed!

    Overall everything was good. My fillet was a little more cooked than medium rare, but still delicious.  we had a good evening.

    We think it had been 10 years since we last dined at J. Gilbert's! They send emails that are very enticing. So, we booked dinner for our anniversary. It exceeded our expectations and steak/seafood were perfectly prepared. We will definitely not wait another 10 years to return. For our anniversary, we each received a glass of champagne which is always a festive gesture.

    Early evening meal, with gradually growing crowd of patrons. The clam bisque was delicious, with a good amount of clam. The Caesar salad was well made, in the traditional fashion, with anchovies optional. Excellent scallops and lamb. Superb chocolate cake and very good cheesecake. Server Jeremy was attentive and very efficient. Great evening!

    Kevin our server was very attentive but did not hover. The food was delicious and it was so exciting to see all the tables filled on a Wednesday evening. J Gilbert never disappoints. It is our restaurant of choice for any celebration.
