J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Blue Cheese potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy an intimate table or host a private party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week and can be booked for private luncheons. Reservations are highly recommended.

    Food was great and server was very nice. It was a bit noisy and the server even had a hard time hearing us when we were ordering or asking questions.

    Always a great meal at j. gilberts. I had the ribeye, and my wife had a filet. Both were fantastic and the service was great too.... The place was full on a Tuesday night which should tell you how good this place is...

    There is no need to play the music as loud as they do, and the selection of music doesn’t fit the place at all. The steak was of very high quality, and the food was all great. Service was very good as well.

    St. John was amazing! What a truly amazing experience he delivered. Wow!!! I'm a 4 star executive chef, albeit retired. And the service was 5 stars and the food was 4 stars. Amazing just doesn't seem to speak the words of exceptional as this whole dining experience was for us. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    Food was very good. Service was good. Never felt rushed. The only issue was that we waited about 20 minutes beyond our reservation time to get seated. Other than that the experience was very good and we will definitely be back.

    Gilby’s is our favorite spot! We are there way too often and it is Always A Joy! - Fantastic Cocktails - Outstanding Food - Friendly (Almost Family) - Great atmosphere (Quiet and Dark) The Friday Happy Hour at the Bar feels like a gathering of old friends and the music on Saturdays is a Smooth add to an already Incredible atmosphere. You Should Go!

    Great Service from Sir Anthony. Food was excellent. I had Durango Shrimp as my main entree, and my spouse had the pork chop. He said it was the best pork chop he’s had.

    This continues to be a great place for nice dinners. Great recipes for steak, pasta, and lamb. Great ambiance without feeling crowded.
