Fabulous, strong flavors. Tavern style at a high level. Get the mushroom risotto and the macaroni and cheese with crab meat!! Super yummy. Really nice owner and staff.

Greats food. Huge servings. Had to get a bag to go. Great service. Tables distance apart from each other. Online menus. Wait staff had on masks.

The restaurant is in a former fire house with an opening to accommodate the firetrucks. This opening allows outside dining in front and a patio on the side. Indoor seating was open toward the fire truck door to ensure proper ventilation. We had a large frittata with gruyere cheese, home fries and house made boar sausage. The flavor was tangy thanks to the sausage and well presented. For dessert we had a butter cake, which is a cavelike version the butter cookie. It was a very flat but absolutely delicious cake. With this dish also, the portion was very generous. the service is attentive and helpful. The restaurant is across the street from the Eastern State Penitentiary, which offers tours.
