Jacques Brasserie is a relaxing sanctuary deep in the heart of the Upper East Side. Low key and inviting, this two-room restaurant and bar serves classic French dishes amongst dark wooden walls adorned with vintage poster advertisements and bohemian scenes a la Toulouse-Lautrec.

Open seven days a week, Jacques Brasserie serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Our chef creates everything in house, producing classic dishes such as French Onion Soup, Escargot, Steak Frites, Poulet Roti, Salade Nicoise and our most popular dish, Moules Frites.

Committed to serving the finest local and seasonal products, prepared in a stylish yet simple manner, a meal at Jacques Brasserie will captivate your senses.

as always Jacques Bistro is always the best. The food is always delicious. The wait staff is so pleasant and helpful. We've been going there for over 20 years. A great restaurant and a local favorite.

I eat here fairly often but tonight the noise level was overwhelming to the point where we couldn't converse across our small table. There was a large group eating dinner near us that was drinking heavily, moving around the room, and yelling to each other down the length of the long common table. The matre de did come and ask them to quiet down, but they did not. I must say that if we encounter this atmosphere again at what has been one of our favorite spots, it will affect our desire to keep going there .

Jacques Brasserie is a go-to neighborhood restaurant. All good - food, service and ambience. I’ve been there many times, and I’ve never been disappointed.

A little disappointed with the Thanksgiving special. The turkey dinner was okay, stuffing was not great, turkey was turkey (nothing special) potatoes and sweet potatoes excellent. Lots of choice besides the turkey special. Good value as the food is always plentiful. First course was very good. Desserts were excellent as well. Service is always very attentive. You feel welcomed in the restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere even if it’s a little noisy.

Jacques is my little breath of Paris around the corner. I’ve been going for years and it’s always great. Pate, escargot, steak frites always amazing. Really great wine selection too.

While I have hsd dinner st Jacques a number of times, this was my first lunch experience. As always the food and service were impeccable. The overall ambiance and vibe brought me back to my dining experiences in small Parisian cafes. I will most certainly continue to ho to Jacques for both lunch and dinner.
