              The food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the sunset view from our window-side table added a magical touch to the evening. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable dining experience!

              Started with a Mai Tai — as good (if not better) as the ones I’ve enjoyed at their sister restaurants in Hawaii. Enjoyed that with the calamari appetizer. My wife and I split a salad, and then I had the Mahi Mahi in lemon sauce — it was excellent! My wife enjoyed her burger. Also got a side of Brussels Sprouts, and loved them! As usual, the service was excellent!

              Overall our experience was a good one. Server was friendly and ambiance was great. Food was ok…had the sea bass special. It was a little thin and overly salty. Not the best dinner I’ve had, but it was ok.

              We LOVE Jake’s! First time for our group and we can’t wait to come back. Bartenders at the bar were great. Hostesses were super nice. Our server was THE BEST. Cocktails and food were on-point. All on a super busy Saturday afternoon. Jake’s staff didn’t miss a beat. Well done!!! Please keep up the impressive level of service. You’ve set the bar high for yourselves and it shows!

              love the view of the ocean, food was fair, ceaser salad had very little drerssing and flavor. Salmon was dry without a lot of taste and my husband's chicken was dry. The atmosphere is always fun thouigh and ther service is also always very good

              We had a lovely anniversary lunch at Jake's, sitting at an ocean front window table. Fabulous view, great service. We shared the fish tacos and the seafood chowder. The kitchen was nice enough to split the orders into two for no extra charge. Our server also gave us the choice of a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We chose chocolate peanut butter torte to share. It was delicious, but we couldn’t finish it. We had the Hula Pie at Duke’s in Maui, so we chose to try something else. We did have a taste of Hawaii with a very good Duke’s Mai Tai. Will be back if we visit Del Mar again! Also, use Jake's valet parking, which was $8 at lunch. We used the public parking across the street, which was a minimum of $25 for two hours.

              I had a lovely birthday dinner at Jake’s. We arrived in time to watch the sunset over the ocean thru their large windows- beautiful. Our server was prompt, and helpful. We started with the calamari, followed by scallops for me and shrimp and sirloin for my partner. Everything was delightfully prepared and delicious. I’m sure during the summer it gets quite busy but this time of year we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
