              I would like to give them more stars, but when we got bumped for a window seat for a "regular" that put a very poor tasting experience in our mouth. They tried to seat us away from the window when there was an open table by the window, and I asked to sit at the window table. When she came back, she ended up sitting another couple and I mentioned that we were here first. She said they had a reservation and I said I had a reservation and I put it in the notes. She said that they don't take reservations for window seats and I said you just told me they had a reservation. I told her I didn't think it was very good form for a restaurant like Jakes to bump one couple for another because of status. They tried to backpedal over it, and eventually sat us in the corner with a partial view. The food was decent, but I don't appreciate being bumped because I'm not a regular.

              I’m a regular at Jake’s. The location and views are what brings me back. Service is friendly and attentive. My only issue is the portions are small. I had the lemon herb fish for lunch and we shared a calamari appetizer. Both were delicious but I was still hungry. In fairness I like to eat but I’m a small person and for the money, I should be full when I leave. So if you have a hearty appetite, plan on ordering more appetizers with lunch.

              Our first time at Jake’s and it did not disappoint! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner! We will definitely eat at Jake’s the next time we visit.

              We had our Thanksgiving dinner here. The food was delicious and our server Iain was very attentive and really made our dining experience very enjoyable.

              Reservation is as easy and there was no wait, ambience was perfect, food was great and service was excellent. Three of us had the prime rib (very tasty and cooked to perfection), one had the mahi mahi and loved it, and the other one had a vegan dish and very happy with it. We shared the calamari and Brussels sprouts and had the hula pie, peanut butter torte, pumpkin pie - all excellent. Thank you for staying open for Thanksgiving.

              Our main meal was very good. My husband ordered prime rib and it came exactly to his liking and was delicious. Surprisingly my seafood pot was not served with bread. It had a delicious saffron broth, seafood base, that begged for dipping. The medley of seafood from lobster to shrimp muscles and several pieces of fish made for a potpourri of flavors that complimented one another perfectly. A very decadent and filling dish. We did enjoy the beautiful views of the pacific, the courteous and attentive servers and the food was great. Thank you, Jakes

              Had our second anniversary here. We came here for our first date and have been here off and on past few years. Never have had a bad experience and food always amazing as is the food. Thanks Jake. You always make date nights very special to us.
