              Returned to Jake’s to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived a little early but were seated quickly at a nice table at the window. Really enjoyed the appetizer (calamari). Our salads were very good and the entrees were delicious. The dessert was to die for. It was the peanut butter tort with chocolate gelato. The service was prompt and polite. Overall a wonderful experience that we intend to repeat soon.

              We got a corner table next to the windows. The view was stunning. Food was delicious, portions were generous, and priced well. Service was great too. We had great experience and highly recommended.

              I was pretty disappointed with the food on Friday evening for our dinner. My dinner was cold and my date’s dinner was not that great either for the price. Aldo it was very noisy and you could hardly hear when sitting across the table from each other. I have been there many times for lunch and was very happy, but they didn’t hit the mark on Friday evening. The service was great though.

              There were two of us at Jake’s last night for dinner. We started with a couple of appetizers and each of us had a margarita. Well, the appetizers were so fantastic that we just stuck with a variety of appetizers (6 total) all eve. I highly recommend the crab cake and mussels appetizers!! It doesn’t get better than these. Also, I want to mention that our our server was AMAZING. We are both gluten-free and he was so attentive to that requirement that he graciously went to the kitchen several times to ensure that all was GF. He even suggested ways to alter a dish to make it GF and then instructed the kitchen in ways to accommodate our needs. A very enjoyable evening!

              Dean was excellent; my Mahi Mahi was perfect. Jake's has always been my go-to, and they never disappoint. Plus, you cannot beat the view.

              Jake's Del Mar offers a truly delightful dining experience. The food was excellent, with dishes that were well-prepared and full of flavor. The setting is simply stunning—situated right on the beach, it provides gorgeous views that enhance the ambiance. The service was equally impressive; our waiter was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, perfect for a relaxing meal by the ocean. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and an unbeatable coastal atmosphere!
