Jake's is a casual, upscale European-style bistro nestled in a secluded courtyard at the epicenter of the Mid-Century Uptown design district of Palm Springs. Much like the architectural and style artisans that surround it, Jake’s takes cues from the past with a nod to the future in the kitchen and behind the bar. Classics are given a surprising twist while new flavor combinations excite the palate. Likewise wines come to us from both New and Old worlds. Of course, save room for something from our signature dessert case! Since 2007, Jake’s has offered al fresco dining as well as seating in our cozy dining room. So join our friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch!

    Over all a good meal. Unfortunately, had to wait almost an hour for our table even with a 7:45pm reservation. The hostess was apologetic and did give us a free round of cocktails and Prosecco which was nice, but still disappointing to wait that long. Food was good and service was good but overall a 3.5/5 star experience.

    LOVED it! We had our 2 little dogs with us. They allowed us to sit at a perfect table for one of the dogs who can be anxious but due to our spot, she was calm and a very good girl. Thanks Jake’s! The food was terrific

    I was on vacation looking for a fancier place to eat. I was able to easily get reservations here. Overall the service was fantastic, but the food and drinks were nothing out of the ordinary. It was yummy, but just not enough to justify the cost in my mind. In general, I don’t mind spending a lot on dinner when it is something phenomenal. I just don’t feel like I had the quality I would want for how much I spent. (around $160 for an adult and child)  Pros: -service was amazing. They were very accommodating with my children, even though they don’t have a kids menu -easy to get a reservation -large cocktail menu Cons: -the food wasn’t bad. It just didn’t blow my socks off. It was good enough, but honestly, I felt like it was overpriced for what it was. -the cocktails were just OK. Nothing spectacular. Especially when you’re paying $18 for a cocktail, I want it to be really good. -no kids menu At the end of the day, it wasn’t a bad dining experience. I just don’t feel like it was worth the price.

    Best to sit in the patio. The new indoor dining room is pleasant but too loud. It needs some soundproof softening. The food seems better nowadays and the menu slightly expanded. Service can be spotty. Plates were not automatically provided for shared starters. Food arrived too quickly.
