Jake's is a casual, upscale European-style bistro nestled in a secluded courtyard at the epicenter of the Mid-Century Uptown design district of Palm Springs. Much like the architectural and style artisans that surround it, Jake’s takes cues from the past with a nod to the future in the kitchen and behind the bar. Classics are given a surprising twist while new flavor combinations excite the palate. Likewise wines come to us from both New and Old worlds. Of course, save room for something from our signature dessert case! Since 2007, Jake’s has offered al fresco dining as well as seating in our cozy dining room. So join our friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch!

    Sat on front patio in evening which was nice and quiet. We were in a bit of a hurry which servers (and hostesses) were helpful about with getting drinks and food out fast. The apps were great - especially the cauliflower and Brussel sprouts! I had the petite filet mignon (VERY petite!) which comes with a large wedge salad side. Great desserts! All around great and reliable comfort food. Will definitely come back!

    Had a fantastic meal at Jake’s! The food was delicious! The staff was helpful. Our only suggestion is that we sat in the new area once owned by the Frippery and the restaurant definitely needs a rug or something to absorb the sound. It has tile floors and glass walls and it was extremely loud. It seems an easy fix but one that would greatly enhance the dining experience in that room. Otherwise, it was phenomenal!

    We had a late reservation and ended up sitting in one of the dining rooms alone. In hindsight, I wish we had asked to be seated in a more common area, which was bustling and fun. Other than that, the food was very good (other than having to ask for extra Beurre Blanc Sauce for our Chicken) - the Crab Cakes were amazing - and the drinks were very good.

    Great dinner here although the outside could use one more heater. Only one table was covered.

    Made the right choice for new Years Eve, fantastic food and atmosphere, excellent service with a super friendly vibe.. The best spot in the Desert !

    As usual, the food was great. The service was great however, the newly remodeled space needs some decor. The room we were in, felt very bare and cold, and needs some type of artwork on the walls.

    We love this restaurant. However, the new room/addition needs some decor and sound attention. The staff and owners are so friendly and we love supporting them. However, the food was less than stellar. The steak was dry and hard to eat, and the lamb chops were tiny and over priced. Otherwise, we love going here...Must have been a bad night (NYE)

    We had high hopes for a lovely new years dinner but the food was a major let down. The sausage fennel pasta was lacking cheese, overly salty and not restaurant quality. The Thai shrimp peanut noodles were stodgy and extremely overcooked. The staff were attentive and the setting was nice unfortunately the food let it down.

    Food was good, service ok, but the room we were in was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other talk. If you go here, ask to sit in the patio and avoid the front rooms.
