    Steak in steak salad was tough and chewy. The kids portion of steak was also tough and a bit charred in places. Prime rib dip was good.

    Super yummy! Our kids love the brunch. Jaks changed their breakfast potatoes and French Toast for the better.

    Very good atmosphere, our waiter was great. She recommended what was very good on the menu. I’ll recommend the Burbon Glaze Pork Chop.

    Well, JAK’s was one of favorite places to celebrate an occasion but tonight, they were not at their usual. The food was good but no longer great. The entrees were smaller and the salads now come in a cereal bowl instead of a plate. My wife and daughter and my entree came on a full size plate while my son’s steak came a smaller plate, maybe to make the steak look bigger since they eliminated the vegetable sides. My bourbon chop was a little tough and tasteless. The glaze was extremely runny and also flavorless. They did provide a comped dessert since it was my wife’s birthday but crème brûlée look different. The texture of the crème look more like fat than a firm pudding. Unless one my kids request this place, this sadly will be my last visit.

    First & foremost, I LOVE JAK’S. It has been a family favorite for well over a decade. Service tonight was outstanding & food was very good. My complaint lies in the mgmt decision to skimp on items such as sauce with fish, & limiting their portion of potato pancakes. In past, even with what they now call a “shareable” size halibut dish, it had come with 2 potato pancakes, not just one. I understand & accept this new/abbreviated meal no longer comes with a salad….but they should keep to the 2 potato pancakes. What’s the cost to make a 2nd potato pancake? Along with that, my halibut (which was still delicious) came with only the smallest drizzle of sauce. Disappointing. I still LOVE Jak’s - just disappointed.
