Since we opened The Jarrettown Hotel, our food has been known for its freshness and flavor. We believe that food, and the process of crafting food, deserve the utmost care and respect. We bring together sensational imported ingredients, the freshest seasonal produce, local meats, and seafood (delivered daily) with authentic family recipes.

Our waitress Colleen was excellent. It was a busy NYE crowd, but she was very attentive. Food was delicious. My husband ordered the pork chop and I had the filet minon gnocchi. It was our first time visiting and we will be back.

While we had to wait a bit for our food, it was worth it — especially on NYE. Wait staff could have been nicer. Lovely evening.

We were a party of 2 and were placed between 2 large parties one of which was extremely loud. We could not even hear each other speak so we rushed our meal to just get out of there. Service was wonderful and food good. Disappointed in our experience.

We ordered filet a d rack of lamb. excellent shrimp cocktail was underwheling we expected larger shrimp. dessert great - pistachio spongecake . server was excellent

Service was attentive and informative; room a bit crowded and noisy; we were told when seated that we had 1.5 hours to finish our meal (a bit unusual, but it was new years eve). Food came quickly and served by kitchen staff graciously. Easily finished before our time expired.

Sunday night so not all that busy at the Jarrettown Inn. Staff was great and gave us just the right amount of attention. The daily specials were all great choices and the chosen was done to perfection. Had a great time and definitely would return Only changes I would recommend would be to the appetizers and small plate dishes that would be starters or happy hour offerings. Would love to see offerings that were more in line with comfort food leaning towards maybe an Italian twist to regular American fair. On way home from the office the Jarrettown would be a great place to have a cocktail and nosh on some not so formal offerings while chatting with friends.

Two of us ordered the bow tie pasta with shrimp & crab with Volkswagen like sauce but the problem was there wasn’t any crab in either entree. Very disappointing. The calamari was excellent. if you’re going to advertise that this dish has crab then please put it in.

Was out to dinner with friends for our annual Christmas gift exchange (5 of us). We all had the filet. It was the best filet I've every had from anywhere. We also didn't realize they closed at 8. It was about 9 when we finally asked when did they close. They never mentioned that they were closed or didn't ask us to hurry up.
