The Wiener Schnitzel was excellently prepared. It was flavorful and not dry. Best I’ve eaten in the US.

We came all the way in from Rancho Mirage ... sort of a standing joke because as we get older a 20 minutes car ride is excessive lol. The restaurant was very nice inside. the decor was urban chic and when you walked in they have a small 4 seat bar and a large room off to the right side. they also have a nice patio for outdoor dinning. The place was busy and we say right away. cocktails we had the blood orange cocktail and a German beer. Food wise we had the meatballs and the escargot both excellent. entrees we all had Schnitzel which was the best Ive had. Our server was friendly and responsive with our drinks and food. This is definitely a place to try!

First time at Johannes and I'm not sure why we haven't tried it before? The food was incredible with more than enough dishes to choose from for next time. Service was wonderful our server had been there for many years and that says something. We will be back again soon!!

The Potato leak with crab and the mushroom soups were excellent. The Escargot and Ahi Tuna appetizer’s were fabulous. The Shrimp cocktail and Malayan Meatballs were interesting. My Husband said the Roasted 1/2 Duck was the best he has ever had, he didn’t care for the braised red cabbage and the polenta cake was dry. My Rack of lamb with smashed fingerling potatoes and green beans was fantastic. A Margaux Bordeaux was wonderful. Our first time at Johannes, we look forward to trying everything on the menu. Every dish that passed our table looked delicious.

We really enjoyed our Christmas dinner. The food was delicious and well presented. We were especially pleased with having our favorite waitress, Beiry. She is such a delight and always makes our visits memorable.

Worst food ever. 175/person for Christmas. Low quality. Scam. Had the “duck,” more likely 3 dollar Ralph’s chicken. Dry, and not duck. Total bill, $575.00. With $86.09 mandatory gratuity. Lamb, 16 oz was not worthy formy for my dog. Total scam!

Xmas dinner was fantastic start to finish! I have been many times and always one of the best meals in Palm Springs. There set 3 course Xmas dinner had many choices. We loved our Blood Orange martini and Bourbon egg nog cocktails! Thank you Beth for making things so festive! Starters of divine shrimp salad cocktail that I will go back for and a savory potato leek soup with crabmeat and pumpernickel croutons. Amazing veal schnitzel with all the fixings and stunning half roast duck with cherries and braised red cabbage. Bread pudding and profiteroles for dessert.
