   Always an incredible meal and excellent service. The best schnitzel - try it with the lemon butter caper sauce! Great cocktails and top notch service. Our go to spot when we visit PS.

   We had to wait 20 minutes before we were seated even though we had a reservation. One of my friend had trouble standing and they did nothing to accomodate him while we were waiting. Orher than that, the food the wine list and the atmosphere were great as usual.

   It’d been a while since we’d been to Johannes and we thought it’d be a great place to celebrate 2 of our special birthdays along with a retirement. We arrived and checked in and were told “we have a table outside.” I asked if there were any tables inside available and told “no”. We continued to try and ask about options, but were rudely led to table outside and told, “we turned on the heaters.” This is a pretty cold and windy day. My spouse tried to ask if we could wait for a table inside and rudely told “this is what you booked. You booked a table outside.” We understand that, but just asking for options. “If you don’t like it, you can go somewhere else.” Not sure that this is the kind of person that a restaurant should have as their front of house. Not a very good experience at Johannes! We honestly will not be going back. There too many choices for a nice evening out. We aren’t that fussy usually when we go out, but this was over the top. The last thing was that the waiter told us that the host said “he needed to get us out because they needed the table.” Unbelievable attitudes and horrible customer service.

   Johannes has been consistent with the delicious and unique flavors they serve up. Our great server was relaxed and she was attentive and knew that menu thoroughly. I loved the pork tenderloin with carmelized apples, crispy prosciutto in a rich Demi type brown sauce, with gnocchi and fresh peas! It was truly beautiful plating and melted in my mouth. Highly recommended!
