Opened in August of 2012, JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House quickly became a staple in Downtown Frederick. JoJo’s offers a unique new-American style dining experience with both a casual dining room and cozy tap house. Our menu features 26 rotating beers on tap, and a full bar with an excellent selection of wine, whiskey, and craft cocktails. A private dining area is also available for those looking to host special events such as rehearsal dinners and business luncheons.
JoJo’s hosts a fantastic happy hour in the tap house. Varying menu specials are presented daily, and with a little something for everyone, we invite you to stop by anytime!

Good service and the food was outstanding! We had a table near the front window, so it was nice to watch as people walked by. We will come back again.

Unfortunately they were on a special valentines menu and did not have their normal menu. Most entrees were seafood based which my son can not have. They were not willing to make anything from their regular menu like a burger. I ended up getting the French onion soup which was far from it. It was a biscuit floating in green onion broth with no cheese. I had them take it away as it tasted gross. To replace it I got cream of crab soup that was thick and extremely salty. I also got mussels which were barely cooked. My husband got fish and chips which was mainly breading and no fish. The ny strip my child got since it was the only item on the menu without seafood was cooked properly and he enjoyed the chocolate cake. Our server was not attentive even though there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. We constantly had to ask for refills and were not offered any bread. We probably won’t be back.

Service was fantastic. Menu had a good selection for Valentine’s Day. All the food was great, but the “lump” crab in my seafood pasta dish was definitely not lump. I mean, sure, it says lump on the can that holds the pasteurized crab meat from another country, but it wasn’t the same lump crab used to make my wife’s crab cake order. Again, service was awesome and everything else was very good.

We had a wonderful dinner here, made all the more special by our server, Alex. He was incredibly attentive and patient, especially with our kids. The food was superb. Delicious pickle chips to start (thick cut, so a great pickle to breading ratio), my steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly, and then there was the chocolate bread pudding. Couldn't have closed the meal better. We will be returning again soon!

We had a really nice experience overall! Of the two meals we ordered, one was excellent (Fish and Chips) and the other was poor (over cooked salmon curry bowl). The wait staff were a little slow in checking in on us so that we could order something different, but the replacement chicken sandwich was great and the staff gave a generous discount on our entree for the wait. We were never made to feel bad about changing the dish up (which we never do) and we were really pleased with the response from everyone! We will definitely be back to try again soon.

Food was fine but the service was uneven. There were tables in the front available but they took us to a back room with few people and little energy. We asked to be reseated but were told those tables in the front are reserved. We reminded her we had a reservation. I asked can you reserve specific tables. She just sort of stared. It she did seat us in a more energetic area.
