Deemed Los Angeles Times Readers’ "Best Sushi Restaurant” Katsuya is a culinary sensation. Featuring the dynamic pairing of Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and design impresario Philippe Starck, Katsuya South Beach is truly a feast for the senses. With unique rolls and spectacular sushi and sashimi platters, Chef Uechi skillfully translates Japanese flavors to the American palate. Signature dishes include Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño and Miso-Marinated Black Cod.

Full a la carte menu available and also showcasing our Japanese fish from the famed Tsukiji Market and authentic and certified Wagyu and Kobe Beef. Kids 3-11 are a $50 minimum . Table is reserved for ONLY 2 hours from reservation time. Pre-payment will be reduced from total bill on the day of and balance will have to be paid at the end of the dining experience. Add on available for $125++for Hyde Beach VIP Fastpass open Bar package Open Bar package which goes from 9pm-midnight only (Must be 21 and over). Packages and purchases are non-refundable. No Exceptions

    We used to go to Katsuya often but had not been in a while. It’s not the same, the food was mediocre at best and we even had to return a plate because it just didn’t taste fresh. Also the valet was $36 which we found excessive. Unfortunately I can’t say I’ll go back.

    Food was very good but a nearly empty restaurant meant there was no atmosphere and it was almost awkward.

    This was outstanding. I have been going to the Katsuya in LA for years, and once in south beach, my south beach experience let me down the first time so I was sceptical of trying it again after reading some of the reviews. But I’m here to say don’t listen. We did the happy hour menu, it’s was superb, food and cocktails were 10/10, we also ordered off the regular menu, also delish. They delivered, the ambiance was great, service great, food mouth watering.
