Established in 1999, King’s Fish House is Calabasas’ choice for seafood. Located at The Commons off Calabasas Rd., King’s Fish House features a large selection of oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

I have been to Kings many times. This time was just not the usual. what was even worse was that they weren't even crowded. Our server was nowhere to be seen most of the time. He took our drink order and came by our table several times, did not bring my drink and ignored us. About fifteen minutes later he brought my drink. the meal seamed to go that route. The order was made wrong for myself and my guest. My order had to be re-done and my guest's order just needed the rest of his meal. This was not the usual, but it just wasn't right! the order should have been checked before it came out!

Lovely atmosphere and great service. Food is always consistent. We absolutely love their no corkage fee policy. That’s really one of the reasons we dine there so often.

Excellent sea food and usually efficient service makes this restaurant a place to go to for a casual lunch or dinner. On our last visit, I enjoyed the clam chowder and the shrimp and scallops main course. It can be a little noisy when crowded.

Wouldn't recommend going at 6:00 on a Sunday night. Food took a long time and came up lukewarm. Manager Nick was a jerk. Acted like we should be thrilled that we weren't going to be billed. We would have much rather paid for a good meal. Normally the food is served pretty quickly, hot, and delicious. That was certainly not the case.

Food was great. We asked to sit outside on the upper level after we were taken to lower level patio which I did not like. They did accommodate us. The front reception was a little chaotic. Hostess asked if we were the blank party after following her to our seat. We said, no. So we had to walk back and wait again to be seated. It was a little chaotic that’s why I gave 4 stars and not 5.
