Established in 1999, King’s Fish House is Calabasas’ choice for seafood. Located at The Commons off Calabasas Rd., King’s Fish House features a large selection of oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

Typical busy Saturday night. The staff was nice tonite, our server, can’t remember his name (African American gentleman) was a sweetheart, excellent service on a Saturday 11/30/24 eve at 7:30pm. This was my date & i’s 4th date. Definitely a great date-night spot. I had the Asian miso sea bass and it was one word: delectable! Would love to be able to duplicate the sauce! My date had the halibut but he said his was dry and not flavorful but didn’t tell me this until he took me home & wanted me to take his to go portion with me… I wish he would of spoken during dinner but with how busy it was, it would’ve likely taken too long to redo or bring out a different dish as we had another engagement to get to. The house pinto Grigio was delicious also-fruit, full bodied! And last but not least, I almost everytime get the spicy seafood soup, it was chock full of fish, the broth perfectly seasoned! Very good meal, attentive and got -our -order -perfectly -server, would come back again…

Kings Fish House is always good! Service was excellent It’s our favorite place to go for a good Fish meal! Also love the crunchy lobster sushi roll Shirley Plutsky/ Dennis Whitcomb

Arrived early and got seated quickly. Had not been there for several years. Enjoyed the new (to us) menu. Excellent seafood platter, very fresh. Salads and main courses were generous in portion and delicious. Prices are reasonable. We like it more than the Water Grills now. Service was great. Dishes came out just a few minutes faster than my liking but ok. Overall a great dining experience.

Decided to do Thanksgiving at Kings. We weren’t sure what to expect. Best decision for us. They had a Thanksgiving menu plus their regular menu. It was perfect!. Food was great and so was service, tnx Alex!👍🏻.

Kings food is outstanding. The dish I have every time I go is the macadamia crusted halibut, and it is delicious every time. It comes with a light orange sauce, and the crust keeps the white fish inside flaky and moist. The baked potato is always prepared perfectly, evenly cooked And never dry. We usually order several appetizers and every one of them is something you want to re-order the next time. Get the butter cake for dessert. It is the perfect ending. And by the way, the staff is young, personable, professional, and always attentive.

our server nica was really wonderful and the best part of our thanksgiving meal at king’s. i’ve enjoyed many meals at king’s-calabasas since it opened in the late 1990’s. whether it was evenings with friends, family celebrations, girls’ night out, dates or business lunches, king’s excellent food and warm and friendly wait staff never disappointed. unfortunately, our thanksgiving dinner earlier today was not only overpriced and small portioned, but arrived at our table cold. we’ll call it a one-off, and continue to visit king’s to enjoy your delicious seafood.
