   I made a last minute reservation for my hubby, my daughter and myself to celebrate his birthday that had just passed. I requested a booth out on the patio. We were seated promptly and got the booth :) Off to a good start! Our server was very nice and took our orders. The food was surprisingly really good! We kept saying “this is really good!” Our daughter loved the poke (we got the spicy sauce on the side) we shared clam chowder and a Caesar salad to start. Then my hubby got the fried fish sampler plate and I had the beet salad. All very tasty and we enjoyed our visit. Only gripe was that they missed my birthday note in the reservation. We will definitely come back again :)

   Another great diner with family. Everyone loved their meal. From fresh steamed lobster to trout almondine. Every one of us ate all of our delicious vegetables. Always a great diner.

   Rainy Friday evening in Carlsbad. Seated immediately for a 6:00 reservation at a table in the center of the room. Not very crowded so noise level was low. Emily was our server, greeted us cordially, noted our anniversary, and congratulated us. Ordered drinks and she brought bread. We both ordered Maine lobsters. They had run out of 1-1/4# lobsters so I had a 1-1/2#. Wife had Brussels sprouts which were delicious, and mashed potatoes. I had zucchini and a baked potato. Next time I would opt for the sprouts and a baked potato. Of course they give you those silly bibs and some tools for dismantling the lobster. Only downside is there weren't any picks for getting out the last morsels of meat. Comped us with a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Generous portion and quite tart, as is should be. Noise level rose as the room filled up and by the time we left at 7:30 it was moderate. Someone thought they needed to raise the music volume so we could all share our love for the Rolling Stones. Glad they figured out that was not a good idea. All in all a great meal with good service and just right for a special occasion.

   Great experience again!!! We were greeted when we walked in on this rainy night and were sat right away with the reservations that we had! The waitress was delightful and told us about some of the favorites she has and ask us if we had any questions. We ordered our food and it arrived promptly and cooked to perfection!

   Our party of 6 had great service. The menu provided many options to satisfy all of our pallets. No corkage fee is a big bonus. Our favorite dining establishment!!
