Kobe Steakhouse is open for dining starting at 4:30pm on Monday~Friday, and at 4pm on Saturday~Sunday. You can book your reservation with us through OpenTable or by calling us at 562-596-9969. Thank you!

In the spacious restaurant area, diners can enjoy the theatre of Classic Teppanyaki-style cooking, sushi, and live music! Expert chefs prepare your food at your own dedicated grill station. The vent at the tepan table we were on wasn’t working so all the smoke was in our face. Other than that the cook was awesome and food was good.

Teppanyaki Chef David, and server Hector created a wonderful and delicious dining experience. This restaurant excels in preparation, presentation and quality proteins. We love it and not just for special occasions- it’s that good!

The hostess who took us to our table seemed like she didn't want to be there and did not even welcome us when we walked in. The chef literally sucked; all he knew how to do was lighting the teppan with no other tricks. The foods were bland and overpriced in my opinion and they have a "plate sharing" charge? Never heard of this charge before; didn't bother asking what it was for as I just wanted to get the heck out of there. The only thing that was good was the service of the waiter who was attentive. Better going to a nice buffet for the price we of Kobe Japanese Steak House.

Unfortunately food was bland and the service was disappointing. Our chef was amazing and really the only reason we stayed. I remember having many memorable experiences here but sadly this is the last time I will eat here. Also, there is hardly any lighting around the stove tops so it feels very sterile. For the price, I would consider making some changes.

This was my first time to Kobe. We have been to many different Teppan style restaurants. The staff was great and very attentive. The chef was terrific and made it fun for everyone at the table. We had a combination of New York steak, Scallops and Shrimp. Everything was very tasty, even the veggies and rice. The seafood was cooked properly as was the steak as we requested medium. I have to say the steak was a bit tough. I'm sure it was not a Prime level meat. If I return I would get the Filet. I buy Prime New York cuts often at Sams Club and they are very easy to cook and tender [not too tough] Overall the experience was very good and I would return. It was a Wednesday night, so it wasn't too busy at all. But they have about 12 Teppan grills.

Services is great, but they tend to forget to mark your OpenTable reservations down so you get dinged for a no-show
