Met our kids living in Lincoln Park for dinner. They said, So easy to get here.” Married daughter’s husband is from Boston and although he loves LEYE Chicago restaurants, he had never been to L Woods. Upon leaving he said,”I’ll definitely return.” Thanks for a great family dinner.

Fantastic service, quick even on a busy Saturday night! The Chicago old fashioned is divine, as are the cheese curds. The new roasted turkey French dip is an incredible addition to the menu! I will definitely come back to get one of these again. And, as always, the key lime pie is creamy, delicious, and addictive. Thanks, L. Woods, for another great “business dinner” :) :)

It’s a quirky super club vibe. It was bumping on a Saturday night which made for some good people watching. Service was fine/good. They forgot our appetizer, but took it off the bill. Food was good, a little pricey for what it is. The cherry old fashioned is delicious!

It was terrible. Not up to Lettuce expectations. More like a Crackle Barrel with a liquor license. Very disappointing. We will never go back.

Baby back ribs and baked potatoes were excellent! Salad was a nice addition. We also had a turtle ice cream for desert, Great flavor, however the presentation could be improved. Overall, great place for dinner, generous dinner portions and very lively atmosphere. We will definitely keep coming back.

L’Woods never disappoints and this visit was no exception. Food was outstanding. The filets were prepared perfectly as ordered - medium rare. Always order a chopped salad for the table and again - excellent. It was a packed house at 5p on a Saturday - service was thorough and efficient but not rushed .

The waiter, Jim, was off the charts good. Apps were on point and cocktails were generous. Skit steak is the right call.
