La Bettola di Terroni is located in the core of the financial district and just steps away from major Toronto landmarks such as Massey Hall, Eaton Centre, Elgin Winter Garden and Dundas Square. While maintaining the essence of Terroni, the menu at La Bettola focuses on traditional southern Italian dishes, particularly influenced by Sicilian cuisine and largely inspired by food seasonality and quality ingredients. Here you will find both classic Terroni dishes and some new favourites always punctuated with an exclusive selection of Italian wines.

                                                        Our entres tasted great. Unfortunately, pretty small portions for the price charged. We had creme brulee for dessert, but it had no crunch on top, which is like, the one thing creme brulee in known for. The room was deafening and service was slow, seemingly because of a very large group being served taking up all of the servers time and attention. Overall, just an average visit. Likely won't be back.

                                                        We went in after seeing a show. We ordered a few pizzas, rapini and the fritto misto. The food and service was very good. The pizza arrived uncut with a serrated knife. It made it very messy to cut. May I recommend a pair of scissors instead of a knife?

                                                        Overall we were happy with the meal and the service provided. I find the selection on the menu a bit limited, especially if you are in the company of a person who would rather have something else than pasta. Wine selection is good but on the pricey side. What was most disappointing was the seating. When making the reservation (for 2 people) we indicated that we are celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival no consideration was given to this effect and we had to request to to be seated at a different table. Why even bother with asking at the time of reservation whether there is a special occasion? We love Terroni but in future would rather go to one of the other locations again.

                                                        Reserved for the early seating (5:30) on NYE before a show at Massey Hall. Our server was very attentive. Food was excellent. Finished and out the door shortly after 7 - perfect.

                                                        I ordered Fogo island cod. The portion was so small and it did not taste like cod at all. I came away quite hungry from the meal. I was very disappointed with my meal. It was not worth the money it cost.

                                                        My first time here and the service was mediocre. Our waitress barely smiled at us and it felt like she didn’t want to be there. The restaurant wasn’t very busy either. We asked for a glass of hot water with lemon that never arrived and we reminded her a couple of times. The 2 pasta we ordered was too salty to a point we couldn’t finish it all. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There’s better Italian restaurants in the city of just go back to Terroni instead. Very disappointed.

                                                        It was dinner for four, carpaccio, scallops, and Frito misto were excellent appetizers.  For our mains, we had the ravioli, cavatelli with braised ragu sauce, and chitarra spaghetti with truffle and sausage. All main plates were excellent, pasta is homemade and delicious. Affogato and gelatos finished off an excellent meal.

                                                        It was good. Too noisy. Distracted waitress with a sense of urgency to be somewhere else. A bit agressive. Capucine lukewarm. Excellent pizza with Buffalo Mozzarella and scallop appetizer saved the night.

                                                        The table we had was horrible. Stuck in the middle of the bar and shared with another group. It was a high top table. Chairs were uncomfortable and table much too low or chairs too high. Table was at my waist. Too close to tables around us so coats/purses kept falling as there was no room to move.
